Project Details
Description
Research projects in 12 Dutch regions contribute to various issues surrounding homelessness, further development of homelessness shelters, protected housing and a soft landing in the neighborhood. These issues are raised by various municipalities, regions and partners from local professional practice in the Netherlands, and studied by means of an integrated research design for research, policy and practice.
In our research projects we gain experiences from various perspectives at client, executive, policy and administrative levels. We often do this on the basis of different measurement moments over several months and/or years. The client’s needs are the starting point. To this end, we work closely with trained interviewers with lived experience on the topic of this research. Our trained peer-support workers are involved during various phases of the research process. The aim is to learn jointly (interim) on the basis of this (experienced) knowledge and to provide input for changes in policy and practice.
