Project Details

Description

The Dutch infrastructure sector consumes vast amounts of primary materials and generates significant CO₂/NOₓ emissions. Many components removed during renovation are still reusable, yet today they are downcycled or lost due to timing, information, and coordination gaps. Therefore, our extensive consortium - consisting of 22 organizations - proposes to digitally rematch reusable infrastructure components. Our project RE:Match.D treats the built environment as an urban mine and develops an integrated, digital approach to match “donor” project with “target” projects, supported by regional hubs. The project directly contributes to Topsector Logistiek (TSL) priorities: sustainability & circularity, datadriven logistics/digital business, and ketenregie (chain orchestration), with a specific fit to the mobile machines and construction logistics application areas. By enabling high-value reuse and smarter construction logistics, we contribute to TSL’s 2030 ambitions on material reduction and emission-free construction logistics.
