Project Details
Description
Firms enter foreign countries in different ways, using different entry modes. This research will conduct one or more studies on some of these entry modes. The aim is to focus on entry modes that relate to two critical decisions which an internationalizing firm faces. These two decisions are often referred to as the ownership structure and establishment mode decision. The research will also concern the development of a (possibly eclectic) theoretical framework for analyzing these decisions, whether firms learn from previous expansions through a particular entry mode, and interactions between ownership structure and establishment mode decision.
