The reconstruction of discourse intention. An investigation into the contribution of meaning components to local and global intentions.

The research purpose exists in stage-wise modelling individual contributions and interactions of lexical expressions, tense, coherence relations, speech acts (possibly with an associated intention), and referential relations to the construction of an intentionally marked discourse representation structure.
