    Description

    Motivated by the discussion concerning the necessity of clean surplus accounting, this project empirically tests the value relevance of dirty surplus flows in the EU. It provides evidence for standard setting purposes and for the relevance of accounting items in the model building process. The data is hand collected from financial reports and datastream. Various statistical analyses will be done to provide insight for the value relevance problem from different prespectives.
