Abstract
In this contribution we address the topic of adequacy as it is covered in articles 11 to 14 of the Council Recommendation on access to social protection. Adequacy in the Recommendation is divided into three sub-topics: the financing of social protection for non-standard workers and self-employed people, benefit adequacy and the interrelation between these two key elements. This paper addresses these elements.
