Abstract
Wereldwijd is de wens om te emigreren het hoogst in Afrika. Hoewel Afrikaanse migranten grotendeels binnen Afrika blijven, is er een stijgende trend om een bestemming buiten Afrika, in het bijzonder Europa, te zoeken. Vooralsnog zijn de tekenen dat de Afrikaanse migratiedruk op Europa zal voortduren.
