    Abstract

    This chapter examines the role of HCI in the design and evolution of conversational agents. It discusses the most significant aspects of human-conversational agents interaction, which include the process for conversation design, the technical and social factors that play a role in conversational interactions with computers, and techniques for evaluating conversational interfaces.
