Abstract
Data-ondersteund werken betekent een verandering in zorg- en werkprocessen. Het kan bijdragen aan de toekomstbestendigheid, en de kwaliteit van de zorg en de kwaliteit van leven van mensen met een beperking vergroten. Binnen het programma Leren Werken met Data in de gehandicaptenzorg zijn in zestien sessies met individuele gehandicaptenzorgorganisaties vier overkoepelende thema’s opgehaald waar kansen liggen voor data-ondersteund werken. Gehandicaptenzorgorganisaties beschikken over databronnen en data om ermee aan de slag te gaan, al is nog niet aan alle randvoorwaarden daarvoor voldaan. Ze hebben een grote behoefte en motivatie om data-ondersteund werken rond thema’s voor de cliënt en zorgmedewerker te implementeren. In dit artikel presenteren we de vier thema’s waar de gehandicaptenzorg kansen ziet als het gaat om data-ondersteund werken.

Data-assisted working refers to a change in care and work processes. It has the potential to enhance the quality of care, future-proofing services, and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. In the Learning to Work with Data in Disability Care program, four overarching themes have been identified for which data-assisted work can be beneficial. Within disability care organizations, there is a great need and motivation to implement data-assisted approaches that cater the needs of both individuals with disabilities and care professionals. Data sources and data are available to get started. In this article, we present the four themes where the disability sector sees opportunities regarding data-assisted work.
