Abstract
De wetenschappelijke positie van vrouwelijke economen is in vele landen sterk achtergesteld, veel meer dan bij andere sociale wetenschappen het geval is. Op het waarom hiervan lijkt er geen eenduidig antwoord te zijn, noch op de mate waarin dit ook voor Nederland geldt. Ligt het aan hun kijk op de economie, aan hun waarden, of heeft het met de praktijk op de werkvloer te maken?
