Abstract

In Asia, yes sometimes means no, Americans are assertive and yes, Belgians experience a greater 'power distance' and are therefore more polite towards the - in Belgian eyes - often somewhat blunt and direct Dutchman. In short, we don't 'speak each other's language'. How can managers in intercultural collaboration projects best be assisted with advice?
