    Abstract

Euthanasia probably is one of the most natural issues to study in a comparative way. 14 national reports, submitted for discussion during the XVIIth Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law, as well as a general report were edited and published in this volume. Thus it provides description and analysis of the state of the art in Belgium, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the United States of America.
