Abstract

This document analyzes the projects for the inclusion of automation and prediction technologies in the System of Possible Beneficiaries of Social Programs (Sisbén) in Colombia. The text has a description of the Sisbén and we analyze the latest modifications so that the system uses more data to profile people. After that, we explain two projects for the exploitation of data of beneficiaries that potentially go against the data protection law and constitute examples of social injustice in the handling of information from State programs. Finally, we make some conclusions and recommendations.
