Abstract
In this pilot study, we developed indicators for analyzing digital food environments and examined four Dutch online supermarkets to determine the extent to which they implement functions that encourage healthier product choices and discourage unhealthy ones. This pilot study was conducted in collaboration with think tank Questionmark and carried out by students and researchers as part of the new course Technologie voor een Gezondere Leefstijl, which is included in the minor program Digitale Gezondheid: een interdisciplinaire benadering of Tilburg University.
