Abstract

The transformation of the biblical Noah to the Islamic Noah has been influenced by both Jewish and Christian Literature. The most important transformation is that Noah's actions are viewed as prophetic admonition, not as an unavoidable disaster. In addition, the Islamic Noah received some traits from Mohammed.
