Abstract

An accessible book that makes the uncomfortable subject of grief manageable for coaches. People who are grieving sometimes feel like they are drowning in all the emotions they feel. They seek help to deal with this. Grieving and loss can have a major effect on how someone views life and looks at their future. How do you regain your resilience after a loss? A coach can offer guidance, peace and courage on the way to healing. In a certain way, coaching is always about loss and grief: you also encounter elements of grief in 'normal' coaching. With the tools that you have at your disposal as a coach, you are already well equipped to also guide people who are grieving. Everyone's grief shows which tools you can use when guiding grieving clients. It provides insight into which types of grief there are, how different grieving processes can take place and how you support your clients in going through this. With the various exercises in the book you help your clients to face their future in a positive way.
