Abstract

This inventory of legislation and standards in selected countries requiring the provision of food-related information (FIP) through means other than labels on pack falls within a larger work aiming at assessing consumers’ understanding of origin information on food packages and its impact on their attitudes, perceptions, consumption and purchase behaviour. In particular, this document provides an inventory of legislation and standards in place in third countries (including relevant case law), together with any relevant information on their use.
