Abstract

Buyer‒supplier relationships are not static but are subject to change. Especially in this age of digitalisation, it is impossible to know everything before a contract period, necessitating post formation adjustments to contracts and other governance mechanisms. This requires intra contract learning. Through the exploration of a single case study between a buyer and a supplier in which we had access to interviewees from both sides of the dyad and the actual contract documents we set out to investigate the intra contract learning and post formation adjustment dynamics.
