Abstract

This chapter theoretically links the concepts of jugaar and entrepreneurial
resourcefulness (ER). Explorations of entrepreneurial practices in relation
to jugaar in the emerging economy of Pakistan can inform both theory and
practice by focusing on entrepreneurial activities in frequently changing
cultural, political and economic scenarios (Welter and Xheneti, 2013). The
chapter provides insights into a mode of jugaar that is becoming increasingly
prevalent in an emerging economy like Pakistan. It also suggests steps
that link this prominent local contextual activity to mainstream theory and
discourse on resourceful entrepreneurship.
