Abstract
The annotation discusses the prosecution of sexual violence crimes against women before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Kunarac, Kovac, and Vukovic case (Foca). It is specifically focussed on the definition of rape, the prosecution of rape as a crime against humanity, and that of rape rising to the level of enslavement as a crime against humanity.
