Abstract
CAD is a helpful system for firms to attain competitive edge and to be a step of ahead their rivals. However, there have been debates about whether CAD technologies are rationally utilized in gaining the expected benefits. This study focuses on the effect of CAD technologies on firm performance in terms of CAD success factors. Proposed research model was assessed with the aid of path analysis. The findings show that there are significant relationships between technological and organizational success factors and also between customers' needs and cost benefits and firm performance.
