Abstract
Zusammenfassung: Der Artikel öffnet mit einer Hinführung in die Problematik über eine ins-truktive Fallgeschichte. Danach werden das Verständnis und das Verhältnis von Seelsorge und Spiritual Care grundsätzlich bestimmt und das Konzept der Seelsorge als spezialisierte Formvon Spiritual Care vorgestellt. Auch die Kritik an diesem Konzept wird besprochen. Der Beitragendet mit Einsichten aus den Niederlanden, wo eine Transformation der Seelsorge in SpiritualCare stattgefunden hat.
Abstract: The article begins with an instructive case history. Then, the understanding and rela-tionship of pastoral and spiritual care are fundamentally defined and the concept of pastoral careas a specialized form of spiritual care is presented. Criticism of this concept is also discussed.The article concludes with insights from the Netherlands, where a transformation of pastoralcare into spiritual care has taken place.
