Abstract
This piece addressed a central challenge in cybercrime law: how can legal systems respond when global computer networks allow offenders to operate largely beyond the reach of national authorities? By examining technical obstacles, especially the "loss of location", and recent developments in European regulation, this article offers an overview of the evolving cybercrime landscape.
