Abstract

Introduction of an ILO-report with background information that situates the thematic of corporate social responsibility, social reporting and liability in the chain in an historical context. The author describes the long track of voluntary to mandatory governance principles. He also works out dimensions of social dialogue and how this dialogue is related to forms of civil dialogue.
