Abstract
Today's world constantly presents us with ideal images that invite us to identify with them. Yet, identification is not only about recognition, as it can also involve a desire or yearning to be that ideal. Newly developed technologies to image breathing find their way in a contemporary art-science installation (Tout passe) that mirrors the breathing of the spectator. The unique interactive features of Tout passe provide the spectators with a self-reflection that can connect them to others. It is expected that these therapeutic-like features can help to develop healthier breathing patterns.
