Abstract
Gerechelijke dwalingen kunnen soms verklaard worden door de biases die we allemaal hebben. In sommige gevallen is het echter zo duidelijk dat iemand onschuldig is dat een minder barmhartige verklaring zich opdringt. Een van deze zaken is de butlermoord: hierin is overduidelijk geen sprake van moord. Tientallen experts hebben aangegeven dat het vermeende slachtoffer gestorven is aan hartfalen. Waarom wil de Hoge Raad deze zaak dan niet herzien?
