    Abstract

    Review of the book 'En het sneeuwde in Rome', by Stefan van Dierendonck. The author left the priesthood during studies in Rome. In the review, I seek to understand his motives, and I evaluate his perceptions of celibacy, faith and doubt, and intimacy.
