Abstract

In the 1950's, Jo Willebrands got involved in the question of the so-called pastores convertiti, protestant ministers who converted to Roman Catholicism. Three questions are discussed on the basis of the cardinal Willenrands Archives: 1. With which former protestant ministers Willebrands kept in touch? 2. What was the nature and the purpose of these contacts? 3. Howdid Willebrands interpret the minsiters' changeover?
