Abstract
De bevolkingsgroei in Nederland van de laatste tien, twintig jaar is vooral een groei gedreven door immigratie. Wat doet dat met de verwachtingen en zorgen van Nederlandse inwoners? Nederlanders willen in grote meerderheid geen bevolkingsgroei, maar eerder krimp of een stabiele bevolking. De dominante drijvende kracht achter de huidige afkeer van bevolkingsgroei zijn de verwachte negatieve effecten van immigratie voor de samenleving.
